Because of the Lessons in Practical Life, the children learn to serve their own snack.

A nutritious snack is available in the classrooms at all times so the children can help themselves to it whenever they feel hungry. Snack is shared as a group afterschool by the children who stay for Day Care at 3:15. Later, snack again is made available for the children so they may eat whenever they feel hungry as they wait for their parents to pick them up. Click here for a Sample Snack Menu.

A fully licensed food service company, "School Caterers", delivers to our school, homestyle, nutritionally balanced, quality hot lunches specially prepared for young children.

Each lunch is currently $3.95 and includes a napkin and spoon. There are no additional charges. There is a choice of Vegeterian or Regular style lunches.

Menus are changed frequently to provide variety. Each month new menus are given to parents so that lunches can be chosen for one month in advance. Simply choose the meals you would like your child to have by marking the little boxes on the menu. Fill out the information and attach a check for the proper amount and return the check and menu to the School. Your child's teacher will give this information to the "School Caterers" representative.

We believe this program can be a big help for busy parents as well as provide a nutritious meal for your child. Of course, you may choose to pack a nutritious lunch for your child yourself. Please send it to school in a lunch box and be sure to label it with his or her name.
